Adopted children want and need to know their birth story which their adoptive parents want and need to tell. While there are other resources available on this subject this is the first with a faith component and the first that provides the clarity busy parents will appreciate.

Divided in two parts: Part I pays special attention to helping the adoptive parent become the storyteller for their child. It suggests ways to help shape a child'' identity in Christ, imagine safely, dispel lies, send messages of hope, prepare facts and historical data to share in an age appropriate way and encourage healing. Part II takes an intimate look at each important piece of a Lifebook while suggesting new ways of thinking about relinquishment and birth parents. Through the eyes of compassion, parents will gain a fresh look into their child'' beginnings before he was adopted. They will learn how to enter into the painful story and walk closely with their child through an amazing process of healing while partnering with God.
